Swamiji scandal

I guess you dont need any kind of introduction on this topic as this is being shown repeatedly on the media for the past 72 hours. I have read comments from some people that he should be hanged in public etc. One question for them: What wrong has he done? Why are people so angry on him?

1. Enjoying with a lady: Well, he is not forcing her into anything. Both of them are doing willingly, so whats your problem?

2. Drinking: Come on, why is he not allowed to drink? Many scientists, poets, celebrities even the presidents of a nation do drink, so whats the issue? He didn't create any nuisance to anyone

If we observe the reactions from the people

1. Devotees: There are around 86,000 devotees to him. How did these people become devotees to him in the first place? Because of his teachings. If there is no good in his teachings, then what the hell they were doing all these days? Lets accept the fact, he is a great sadhu. Having that many devotees is not an easy task. How many people would agree with your views and become devoeetes to you? I guess the reason for their anger is that they tried to change their ways through his teachings but couldn't succeed. So they have to blame someone and now with this chance, they are blaming him and they are going back to their same old life.

2. Non-devotees: People in general are angry on sadhus and swamijis. Reason is very simple; jealousy. People try hard 24X7 to make few bucks and to lead a happy life. But these swamijis lead a peaceful life without wokring hard. They have all luxuries at the cost of other peoples efforts. Well, whats wrong in that? they are superior in their knowledge and hence they are able to spend their life peacefully and happily. Think the efforts put by a riskha puller and by you; whose efforts are more and who is having luxuries?

So what am I trying to say? There are no bad people or good people; only bads ideas and good ideas. Accept the good that comes from either a 10 year old boy or from a swamiji or from a criminal and ignore the rest.
And lastly, how is the media allowed to show the private scenes of two people for public? Isn't this illegal? Imagine if they put a secert camera in your bedroom and show that in the TV channels? Why are the people watching the private scenes 24X7? because all are se*ual perv*rts and enjoy watching other people's private scenes.

Who are you? Who am I?

Five years ago, I wrote a blog with the following questions and finally got to get answers for some of these from the master whom I met recently; his name is Venkateshwara Rao and he is from Tirupathi. First, lets talk about my questions and the answers given by him

My question is “Do we have multiple lives?”
Ans: Yes

First of all who are you? Or before to that who am I?
Ans: You and I are the same

When I say YOU, Is it your body or your soul?
Ans: Its your soul currently staying in your body

If YOU are your soul, then there is no death for you or if YOU are your body, then after your death, your soul also dies.
Ans: Yes, death is not the end, its just an intermediate stop. Its like you sleep and wake up everyday. In the sleep state you are dead, you dont remember anything, you are in a different world and when you wake up the other day, its like you are born again.

Some geeks say that we are like this because we have done some sins in our previous birth.
Ans: Yes, its true

If that is the case, then I should remember my previous birth right?
Ans: Yes, you can, think and think

Otherwise how do I know what the mistakes I have done?
Ans: Yes, you can find out everything if you practise meditation and inner peace

Since we don’t know anything related to the previous lives (at least I don’t know anything about mine, by any chance do you remember??), then how can I believe the concept of multiple lives?
And what is the purpose of that? If that should exist, then we should remember all of those so that we can analyze ourselves and we can know where we are going…
Like I’m a cat in my previous birth and I have done some good things so only I got a promotion and I became a human being in this life etc. But that’s not happening.. hence the concept of multiple lives is disproved.
Ans: Thats not happening to us because we dont believe that that is possible; we are programmed to behave in a certain way and believe only few accepted things in this world. If we come out of that reality and understand the secret that you are the universe then everything is clear.

I can give you a simple analogy: Is your hand you? or different? If it is not you, then it should exist separately, so cut it down and give it to me; but the moment you cut it down, the hand dies, its of no use. Otherwise if it is you, then how can you call you and your hand both as you?
Yes, you and your hand: both are you. Similarly all the living souls are a part of same universal origin, though they seen to be different, they are the same, their final destination is to join with the universal source.

You might think that you dont have control over the things happening to you; thats not true. The reason for that is you are programmed to beleive those by your parents and others since they also beleived the same. If you sincerely beleive the same (100% - there is no point of decimal system here, its only binary; either you beleive or dont believe; if you beleive 75% and dont beleive 25% then thats meaningless), whatever you think, whatever you wish would happen in your life.

SriSailam trip

We have been to SriSailam for Diwali and the trip went fine. The biggest mistake what we had done is that we started without knowing the route; the reason was that during our previous trip to Nagarjuna Sagar, we saw a sign board which said we can reach SriSailam from Nagarjuna Sagar so we went to Nagarjuna Sagar first and then found out that the way is too longer and its a village road so we had to cross many sheeps, buffalows on our single lane road; anyways it was a good experince and finally we landed up in Srisailam after travelling for about 500KM (The direct route from Hyd to SriSaialm is just 200KM)

Finally we reached SriSailam and felt relieved with the cool breezes on the mountains and this is the initial view of SriSailam and that building is a museum which is maintained by the chenchus who live in the forests. I was astonished after seeing this; it has got various tools, things, clothes and etc which were used by tribals and we can find their own implementation of many modern items like pressure cokker, rain coat, hot box, weapons etc etc. This museum is worth watching and we got some herbals also from this place. Ofcourse the guide is also a chenchu woman and she explained very well.

We got accomdation in one choultry there and paid (sorry donated) 500/- for one AC room and it looked decent; and food was free during our stay there. We then started to SriSaialm dam which was constructed on Krishna river and it is second highest dam in INDIA. It contributes 20% to the overall power supply in AP. There were 11 gaint gates and each gate costed 1 crore in 1980s; so imagine the cost now. The way how it works is they store the river water in seven tunnels and there will be turbains in each tunnel and the water which passes through this turbine produces power. Initially tehy did not allow us inside the dam; so we had to bribe (sorry donate) the police at the entrance.

After that we bought a book about Srisaialm and went through what places to see and what is the significance etc. Next day early morning our guide (in fact youngest guide.. 10 years old) came and we went inside the temple. That book was very helpful and we could know about all the places and stories beforehand. We visited all the temples and historical places and after having free lunch again, started our tour to Hyderabad (this time in the correct route i.e. 200KM). I would say that this was one of the beautiful journeys we had; the way was a ghat road but the weather, forests, trees.. everything was very nice. Finally we returned home in the night.

During this trip I came to know the greatness of hindu culture and I feel that we are not giving much importance to Hindu culture. It has got all the knowledge but somehow we are attracted towards foriegn culture. Mathematics, Science, Astrology, Medicine.. all these were invented in very early centuries (5th or 6th) and we had some of the greatest heroes in our history Sivaji, KrishnaDevarayalu etc. I read history of Sivaji only and felt really great about the way he raised from a normal man to an emperor (Chatrapathi). He fought with Moghals who occupied the entire INDIA and this guy started with just forty soldiers and one fort. Kudos to him. When I say Hindu culture, I dont mean that we should worship all our gods and do all sorts of poojas. In fact the hinduism we hear is not the real hinduism; it never talsk about our gods; our people have transformed it in multiple ways.

My first venture

This is my first venture in writings.. Thought I wrote this in 30 minutes just for the sake of participation, it got good appreciations. Probably not many entries had come for the competition; however I'm pleased with peoples appreciations.

My question is “Do we have multiple lives?”
Hey, lets keep this very simple..
First of all who are you? Or before to that who am I?

Finally changed my views on Marraige

I was an anti-marraige group member till a few days back and yeah, I used to motivate people for not getting married. But then, I had to revisit all my views and finally I'm convinced on getting married. Ofcourse this was not an easy decision, it took me almost 2 and half years for this. Let me talk a few..in fact very few things about this.

Basically marraige is a convention, nothing more than that; its a way of life. Two people can live together without the marraige concept also. But then I got a question that 'What are you losing if you marry?" . Then I gave a serious thought over it; when I'm ready to live with a person then what am I going to lose if I bend to their conventions. Ofcourse still I can be firm on my concepts or so called perceptions, but I should consider the other half's concerns also.

Anyways, its not that you have to marry someone. In order to live with that 'someone', you have to marry. With marraige, your life becomes complete.
